I was the UI designer Jr in charge of creating the representative visit request for AcheDoc, along with an UI senior and a PM. I assisted with research and structuring, and created the wireframe and final prototype.
About the project
AcheDoc is an app destined to doctors and students of all areas of medicine to keep up with the latest medical news, test their knowledge through quizzes and use the different tools available within the app for studying or even for consults. It is owned by Ache, a farmaceutical company of great renown.
To facilitate the connecting between the company and the user, the client decided to add the 'talk to a representative' feature within the app so that doctors can requests visits in a faster, automatic way.
The design
Representatives are linked to products. By requesting a new visit, the first thing the user must choose is what Ache product it is related to. Each representative is knowledgable in a variety of products. If the user already has a representative assigned to them who works with the selected product they will appear in a list for selection. If not, the app will direct the user straight to the request form.
The visit request form is short and simple. At the top, it lists the product and representative (if applicable) the user has chosen for the visit. The user will select the city they are in to locate a representative near them, as well as the urgency level of the visit and the preference of visit, if they'd prefer it be in the morning of afternoon. There is a list of common reasons the user can pick from and they can also write down freeform any other important information.
This request goes straight to the Ache headquarters where a specialized employee will connect the doctor to the best representative for the case. The user can keep up with how their request is going on the same request menu they started on, and then review their visit afterwards.
