Culligan

I was the UI designer Jr in charge of designing the entire website using the global brand as a base, along with an UI senior and a PM. I assisted with research and structuring, and created the wireframe and final prototype.

The Project

Culligan is a worldwide well-known brand which was in need of a brazilian website. The website needed to show all of the areas in which the company acts, them being: residential, comercial, and industrial. To reach all of their target audiences, the many areas of the website needed to be clear and comprehensible to each of the groups.

The Design

With the arrival of Culligan in Brazil in 2021, after they acquired IBBL, the brand needed a visual identity that would represent it on national grounds and, with that in mind, I kept the central colors of the brand, white and blue, to give the idea of a clean and translucid environment, much like their product is.

One of the biggest struggles with the design was to include all the areas Culligan works with, from residential to industry. Considering this, the layout needed to be simple and direct. On the homepage, the user can locate themselves through the top menu or by the buttons on the screen to find exactly what they're looking for, be the person from any industry, company, or someone looking for something for their house.

Focusing on all types of users, it was necessary to make areas with different degrees of complexity. Pages were created with more complexity and information for industrial information and others were simpler and more direct for residential. Even then, the clean aesthetic was kept all throughout.
